Roadside attractions- Somewhere in Kansas

You never know what you're going to see driving along, especially if you eschew the interstates in favor of the less traveled, and sometimes faster, back roads.
These pictures are from somewhere in Kansas, between Tupelo and Wichita. Actually just outside Mullinville.

We happened upon these 'sculptures' during a recent road trip.   You can read more about the artist, M.T. Ligget here

These were so much fun to look at, and if I'd had the time I would have taken individual pictures of each one.
I love the whimsical nature of most of this 'art' and it is art.  Primitive and wonderful at the same time.

I had so much fun taking pictures, not only with my phone but also with my other camera, and the closeups of the tractors are for my BIL, who, I'm sure can tell you the model and the year that the tractors were made.
But in the meantime, take those back roads, look for the less traveled roads, you never know what treasures you'll find along the way.

Spiderwort's

It's been way too long since I've posted any pictures here.
I wanted to share a few pictures of the Spiderworts I've been taking over the past little while.
After the rain...

I wish I could paint with the vivid colors that Gaia does.
